The first story of Peanuts series by American artist Charles M. Schulz (1922-2000 gg.) was published on October 2, 1950. One of the most famous comic books on the planet describes the life of a restless dog called Snoopy and his melancholic owner Charlie Brown, tells the stories about daily twists and turns of the serene world of a dozen of old school friends and brings the magical atmosphere of optimism. Schultz’s philosophical, ironic approach to the surrounding reality ensured the author’s popularity among tens of millions of readers and made him extremely influential among the creators of comics. In Russia, Peanuts anthology is published by editing house Zangavar.

For nearly four years, Dominique Goblet and Kai Pfeiffer have worked long-distance from Brussels and Berlin, creating one story in different techniques. This experiment resulted in publication of the book “Plus Si Entente”, which describes the life of a divorced woman who spends time on a dating site, publishes information about herself and reads the ads men have published. It is a romantic comedy about domination, control, loss, love and desire. Both authors are known far beyond the borders of their countries and regularly participate in various festivals. Both of them also teach, Dominique at the University of Graphic Arts in Brussels, and Kai at the Academy of Arts in Kassel.

The project “Pas de deux”, which lasted for a year, featured three “dancing” couples: Olga Lavrentieva and Pierre Wazem, Lika Nüssli and Victoria Lomasko, and finally Milva Stutz / Julia Marti and Askold Akishin. Ever since 2014, when the artists met at Boomfest, they have been exchanging letters, photos and stories about themselves and shared their outlook at what is happening in the world. In the process these materials have formed interesting stories about stereotypes seen through the eyes of Russian and Swiss artists, poignant stories of personal experiences, statements on topics urgent for Russian society, that help to understand the stereoscopic quality of the world and see the value of each author’s view of the world.
